Return Policy (Lavoré)

This Return Policy applies to all purchases made on lavore.store and is issued by:

By placing an order, you agree to this Return Policy.


1) Made-to-order policy

All Lavoré pieces are made-to-order. This means your item is crafted specifically for you after purchase and is not taken from stock. Because production begins shortly after ordering, all orders follow the rules below, including the strict limitations on returns and cancellations.


2) Cancellations and order changes

We understand plans can change. You may request changes or a cancellation on the same calendar day you placed the order, before 12:00 AM (midnight). After that window, your order becomes final and cannot be cancelled, as production may already be scheduled or started.

Requests must be submitted to mail@lavore.store and include your order number. We cannot guarantee changes once production has begun.


3) Returns

Because all items are made-to-order, we do not accept returns for change of mind, including reasons such as preference, sizing, style, color, or “not as expected”, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.


4) Non-returnable items

For hygiene and product integrity, the following items are non-returnable, except where mandatory law requires otherwise:

  • Swimwear and intimate items, including but not limited to bikini tops, bikini bottoms, one-piece swimwear, and any items worn directly on the body
  • Items marked Final Sale
  • Gift cards
  • Any item returned in a used, worn, washed, altered, or damaged condition
  • Any item returned without original tags/packaging (where applicable)

Please note: we cannot accept returns for swimwear or intimate items even if only tried on, due to hygiene standards.


5) Defective, damaged, or incorrect items

If you receive an item that is defective, damaged in transit, or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery at mail@lavore.store and include:

  • your order number
  • clear photos/videos showing the issue
  • photos of the packaging and shipping label (if relevant)

If verified, we will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement, store credit, or refund, depending on the issue and feasibility.


6) What is not considered a defect

Handcrafted pieces may include subtle variations in stitch, texture, and finish. These are a natural part of the handmade process and are not considered defects. Minor color differences due to screen settings and lighting are also not considered defects.


7) Return instructions for approved cases

If your claim is approved (Section 5), we will provide return instructions. Do not send items back without contacting us first.

Where a return is required, the item must be returned:

  • in original condition, unused, unworn, unwashed
  • with all original packaging, tags, and accessories included
  • using a tracked shipping method (recommended)

If a return shipment is lost in transit, we cannot issue a refund without proof of delivery.


8) Refunds (approved cases only)

If your claim is approved and a refund is issued:

  • refunds are processed to the original payment method
  • original shipping fees and any customs duties/taxes are non-refundable, unless required by law
  • refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days after approval (your bank may take additional time)

9) Refused, unclaimed, or undeliverable shipments

If a shipment is returned to us because it was refused, unclaimed, or undeliverable due to:

  • an incorrect address provided by the customer,
  • failed delivery attempts,
  • failure to pay customs duties/taxes, or
  • failure to collect the parcel from the carrier,

we may, at our discretion:

  • reship the order at the customer’s cost, or
  • refund the item price minus return shipping fees, handling costs, and carrier charges incurred.
